A talk by Max Hunt about Lord Austin and car making at Longbridge

Organised by Rubery Library, this illustrated talk will tell the story of Herbert Austin from obscure beginnings in rural Buckinghamshire to his position as Britain's pre-eminent motor manufacturer in the 1930s; it will trace the wartime history of Longbridge and consider some of the factors in its later decline.
